The easier slopes are on the wide Kropfrader and Mittermoos ridges but the valley runs, especially the Hochberg or the Stöck and Sixtwiese ski routes through the woods are demanding, even for experienced skiers. In summer, the Markbachjoch cable car is open from May to October. From the cable car walks take you to the Rosskopf Mountain or the Horler Stiege chapel.
